Wellness Gift Guide

I’ve always loved gift giving. But since making the switch to natural products and trying to live a less toxic life in general, I have come to love it even more. Brainstorming and researching natural  gifts that I think could potentially replace my loved ones conventional wellness and personal care products is one of my favorite parts of the holidays.

Below are some of my favorite gift ideas encompassing skincare, self care, and wellness.

1.Natural Science Beauty Home Base Body Balm. This is a rich, airy, and nourishing butter that feels amazing on the skin. Its lightly (but beautifully) scented so it will appeal to many different preferences. Not only does it deeply hydrate the skin, it also can act as a barrier on the skin against cold dry winds that dry the skin out (Thank you, Beeswax). Handcrafted by 28 year old Portland local Kelly Casey. $45

2. Candeo Candle’s Medieval Essentials soy wax candle is scented purely with essential oils of Clove, Cinnamon, Eucalyptus, Lemon, and Rosemary. These essential oils create a fresh and spicy scent that is reminiscent (to me) of a chai tea latte. Candeo Candle also has an amazing selection other candles scented purely with essential oils. Handcrafted in Corbett, Oregon. $7.99 to $16.99

3. The Lagom Body Co Feed Mask. I have a whole other blog post on this product. Basically though, it is beautiful, smells lovely, nourishing, and gently detoxifies WITHOUT drying out the skin. Handcrafted by Kristen in Vancouver, Washington. $26

4. Josh Rosebrook’s Hydrating Accelerator smells amazing and fresh, has anti-inflammatory properties, tones, balances, and hydrates the skin, and strengthens the protective acid mantle barrier. It’s perfect to tone the skin after cleansing, can be spritzed over top of facial oils to lock in moisture, and can even be used as a refreshing mist throughout the day as it sits incredibly on top of make up. $22 to $60

5. Next up is the La Tierra Sagrada New Moon Ritual Haircare Kit. First off, this little bag is one of the prettiest things that I have seen. That cool toned rose gold moon is gorgeous and the bag is the perfect size for traveling or to bring with on a daily basis. It’s also filled with holistic hair care goodness. La Tierra Sagrada is a hair care line created by celebrity hairstylist Stefani Padilla. She created her hair care line after transitioning to a natural lifestyle focused around wellness for the sake of her health. The kit consists of the LTS shampoo, conditioner, jojoba hair oil, coconut oil based hair treatment mask, and sea salt spray. All of these products are made of all natural ingredients, have beautiful, grounding, and earthy scents, and encourage self care rituals. $70

6. Echo Natural Beauty Aromatic Home & Body Spray. Echo’s signature scent was handcrafted by one of the small business’s very own team members and consists of purely essential oils and water. The scent is light, fresh, and has just the right amount of femininity. Handcrafted in Portland, Oregon. $12
