I’m sure most of us can agree that a good concealer (natural or not) is hard to find. It’s a tough task to find a formula that is moisturizing enough to keep the skin looking vibrant and healthy, but also a formula that will not crease under the eye.
The best concealer that I have ever used (natural or conventional) is the RMS Beauty Un Cover Up. It melts into the skin like a dream and leaves the under eye looking flawless, bright, and even toned.
I do not notice that the Un Cover Up creases much when it is not set with powder. But being a creme product I think that, for the sake of lasting power, it’s a good idea to set this concealer. The RMS Beauty Tinted UN Powder (another RMS Beauty wonder) is my favorite setting powder for the under eye area. The Un Cover Up and Tinted Un Powder together are like a match made in under eye heaven.
My method of choice when applying the Un Cover Up is to use a flat foundation brush or flat concealer brush to apply a few vertical strokes of the product under my eye and then tapping the product in with my finger.
The Un Cover up also looks great when it is applied and blended out with the finger alone, but I find that using a flat foundation or concealer brush to initially apply the product helps to disperse the coverage evenly under the eye.
I usually switch between the two brushes below for initial application of the concealer. Both are from this set.
Now, enter the RMS Beauty Tinted Un Powder
This powder is amazing at absorbing oil and locking make up into place. I prefer the Tinted Un Powder over the non tinted version. I found that the non tinted version left a bit of a white cast on my skin. The Tinted Un Powder is a super finely milled matifying powder and, although it is tinted, it gives the same lightweight effect as a translucent powder.
I think that the Tinted Un Powder would be especially useful to anyone with oily skin or anyone who has issues with their foundation breaking up through out the day. Like I mentioned before, this powder is quite matifying but I find that a light dusting of the Un Powder under neath a more illuminating setting powder keeps my make up set in place all day and keeps my skin from looking too matte. Of course, if I am going for a matte skin look then I will just use the Tinted Un Powder on its own to set my make up!
